Social Events

The activities program include an opening get-together on Thursday night, during which Pisco Sour (a typical Peruvian beverage)  and wine will be served offered by a local sponsor. Additionally, a fee bar would also be available. Detailed information about restaurants, pubs and other establishments in the area and surrounding neighborhoods will be provided to promote socialization among participants.

AMCIS has traditionally included a dinner party on Friday night that we propose to celebrate at the Museum of the Nation. Guests would be welcomed to the Museum’s showrooms located in    four levels, where objects from the first inhabitants of Peru are displayed. Bilingual guides would be available for the tour. During dinner, a musical show of Peruvian dances and customs would be presented to AMCIS participants. Peruvian folklore is very rich and we are certain that this show would provide a comprehensive appreciation of the different cultures that have been developed in the three geographical regions of Peru throughout the years: Coast, Highlands and Jungle.
